March 27, 2009 -WAM2009! attendees exchanged a flurry of ideas and helpful tools for change during pre-conference sessions at this yearÕs Women, Action & the Media Conference, organized by the Center for New Words. The weekend-long event in Cambridge, MA, brought together hundreds journalists, activists and a diversity of participants interested in gender justice in media.
